Commissions

process

I create custom abstract art commissions for collectors and interior designers seeking work with depth, texture, and scale. Each commissioned piece is built slowly by hand, responding to the space it will live in.

Art built to be felt.

Consultation & Vision

Begin via the Contact Form. Share your preferred size, palette, inspiration, photos of your space, and any references. If you’re unsure, I’ll guide you. We’ll schedule a short video call to refine the brief and understand your space.

Proposal & Quote

You’ll receive a detailed proposal outlining size, timeline, price, and shipping/delivery options. A 50% deposit secures your commission.

Creation & Updates

Each piece is built in layers—rich textures, organic forms, and subtle shifts in tone. You’ll receive progress photos and updates; small adjustments can be made during this stage.
Timeframe: typically 1–4 months, depending on size and complexity.

Final Approval

I’ll send final photos for approval. The remaining balance is due prior to shipment or delivery.

Delivery

Works are professionally packed and shipped worldwide, or available for local pickup in Los Angeles. Complimentary digital mockups help you visualize the piece in your space.

Frequently Asked Questions

The cost depends on the size and complexity of the piece.
Because commissions are deeply personal and bespoke, I devote considerably more time and attention to each one than to ready-made artworks.
Quotes are primarily based on size, with adjustments for the complexity of the textures, layers, and techniques involved

Most commissions take approximately 1–4 months from deposit, depending on scale and complexity. Each timeline is carefully scheduled and factors in design refinement, canvas fabrication, materials lead times, layered builds and cure times, packing, and delivery coordination. Timing also reflects my current studio schedule, ensuring each piece receives the attention and pacing required. If you have a specific completion date in mind, please share it — feasibility will be confirmed in your proposal.

I don’t create duplicates out of respect for collectors and the integrity of the originals. However, I can draw inspiration from pieces you love—tone, palette, or composition energy—to craft something uniquely yours.
